David first came up with the idea of Setter when building custom homes in Toronto. His clients kept calling him back for small touch-ups and fixes because they didn’t know who to go to. It was then that David realized that your home is the only major asset without a professional taking care of it.
United by their appreciation of quality service, the team set about re-defining the home maintenance process. The concept was simple: simplify things, work with quality professionals who care for your home as you do, and bring proactive home management to everyone, everywhere at a fair price.
We started as a team of four in a Toronto basement with nothing but a cell phone, an Excel sheet, and sheer determination. We have now evolved into a growing team with a real tech stack, delivering exceptional service to homeowners in two cities.
